The Dan Paddy Andy Festival is back after a two year Covid break - and so is the popular Festival 5K/10K - Walk/Run in rural Lyreacrompane.
About this event
The 5K Run/Walk takes in the Mass Path and includes a short section throught a wooded area and then over the footbridge and through the church grounds. Passing the old Bord na Mona tip ,Lyreacrompane Post Office is next, and then left at the Grotto to head back to the finish. Suitable for all ages.
Registrations will also be taken on the morning between 9.45 -10.45.
The 10K is a circular route on rural roads. The start is downhill and most of the rest of the route is more or less level. Near the end, Collins' Hill offers a challange and the dash to the finish is down hill.
