Description

A learning and networking event hosted by APWA Lake Branch and Fox Valley Branch in conjunction with the Great Lakes Construction Association.

SPEAKER:

Brian will provide a presentation about the new CCDD Facility issues that have been highlighted in the news and down in Springfield with new proposed legislation. There are major issues and changes that could greatly impact the construction industry and other Public Works related areas. Brian also will discuss the overall state of the CCDD facilities, the operators’ response to potential changes, the Illinois EPA perspective, and the effect on the individual contractor, sub-contractor, owner and facility operator in terms of new procedures and overall changes to the allowable materials and soil permitted to CCDD facilities.
