The Creativity Exchange Network - Memory & Memorability
The Creativity Exchange Network (CEN) – New Meet-up 19 October 2016
Memory & Memorability
Discover the secrets of world memory champions, and why memory is vital for individual creativity and successful business innovation. Innovation is a key to business success, and this will reveal some secrets you will find interesting.
Imagine memorizing a deck of 52 shuffled cards in less than 30 seconds, recalling 450 numbers spoken at one second intervals without error, flawlessly recognising 100 never before seen names and faces in 15 minutes, or remembering 26 decks of shuffled cards. These are just some of the amazing feats mastered by memory champions, and innovation leaders.
As a preview to the 2016 Australian Memory Championship powered by Mindwerx International and hosted by Dimension5 on 19-20th November, our next Creativity Exchange Network or CEN (pronounced ken) meet-up will reveal secrets used by memory champions, and also by master minds in business, science and beyond.
Memory is the flip-side of creativity and the principles of memory provide invaluable lessons for organisations applying design thinking to spark innovation. Innovation is helped by the the creative fuzzy front-end of thinking that ultimately leads to the success formula.
At this CEN meet-up you will participate in a memory challenge, and hear some amazing stories from past World and Australian Memory Championships, including when The Gruen Transfer’s Todd Sampson developed fantastic memory skills for his documentary Redesign My Brain.
