The Cool World of Botanical Gel Printing Unleashed

Under Suanne’s guidance you will be introduced to the basic methods of creating beautiful gelatin prints using homemade gel plates, botanicals, and acrylic paints. You’ll learn how to ink your gelation plate, transfer images onto paper, as well as how to add layers of interest, color and patterns to your work. Come unleash your creativity while enjoying a lively morning making your own beautiful imagery.

Note all materials will be provided. Each person will take home their own 5” x 7” gelation plate for future use as well as your own creations.

Suanne thoroughly enjoys pursuing a wide range of printmaking techniques as well as creating artist books. She’s taken numerous book arts, encaustic, fiber, mixed media and printmaking workshops at Haystack, MECCA, USM, SMCC and various studios.
