Event description

Description

Freud is everywhere. A Freudian slip. The unconscious mind. He is famous for being the inventor of modern psychotherapy, but what many don’t know was that he was also a Viennese Jewish doctor deeply conflicted about his Jewishness. So how does his work connect to us today, and how do we understand Freud’s identity as a Jew who deeply rejected religion? Join our two-session tour through some of Freud’s classic excerpts as we try to better understand his own psyche.
