Spend a day capturing the beauty of autumn leaves and fruits in colored pencils. Persimmons, berries, and other fruit along with a variety of leaves are delightful subjects for the sometimes bleak days of early winter. Colored Pencils are a meditative way to express oneself artistically. We will focus on color theory and color application. Learn the basics of using colored pencils including layering and blending to create interesting natural color and burnishing to create lovely shine. Discover some new techniques including underpainting with watercolor pencils and markers to create vibrant color and form. See examples of Nina’s work at www.pcquilt.com .
