The Clear Mirror Guided Meditation
Wed, March 22, 2017, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM EDT
Join us for a special Spring version of the Clear Mirror Guided Meditation.
As you emerge from your winter cocoon, this meditation can help you:
Let go of self-criticism and negative self-talk
Release obstacles and welcome new beginnings
Take a fresh look your best qualities to be seen by yourself and others
And remind you that your longest and most important relationship is with yourself!
Mirror Meditation helps you improve your relationship with yourself in ways that will make you a better friend and partner. I’ll be calmer, more compassionate, and better able to stay present. This unique meditation practice is led by Dr. Tara Well, psychology professor at Barnard College of Columbia University in a relaxed community setting.
Reserve your ticket now, space is limited. Doors open at 6:30, starts promptly at 7:00pm.
The focus is on using the mirror as a tool to develop CLARITY and KINDNESS. Kiana Love will be providing grounding and compassionate intention. Dr. Well will be discussing research from the book “The Clear Mirror." Her research finds that a regular Mirror Meditation practice can lead to deep shifts in awareness, reduce stress, and increase compassion for self and others.
Mirror Meditation debuted to a sold-out crowd at The Rubin Museum of Art last year and is creating a buzz around New York City.
Here’s what people are saying about Tara's Mirror Meditation workshop:
“Mirror Meditation is an exciting new tool for self-discovery."
“The workshop helped me feel more present and kinder to myself."
“It increased my willingness to be seen and gave me amazing clarity about my relationships.”
