Description

The City as a Platform: Citizen Centric Cities & Services

The Department of Consumer & Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) is partnering with the Sharing Cities Alliance Foundation to bring you The City as a Platform: Citizen Centric Cities & Services. The sharing or ‘on-demand’ economy - an environment where you can get anything from a ride to a meal, a movie or a handyman, with a push of a button - has changed customer expectations. As a result of this paradigm shift, both residents and businesses now expect their government to deliver city services more efficiently and conveniently. We are embarking on a digital transformation - a fundamental change in processes, activities and how value is provided.

Join Ernest Chrappah, the Acting Director of DCRA, and Harmen van Sprang, the co-founder of Sharing Cities Alliance, in a conversation. Embrace this opportunity to learn the latest on sharing cities and get tips and tricks from around the world on how residents could really be at the heart of our city and its services. Active audience participation in this seminar is appreciated.
