Event Details

Renowned architect Edward Dart, FAIA  (1922-1975) designed all sorts of buildings, from houses to Chicago's Water Tower Place. Chicago preservationist Matt Seymour discusses Dart’s influence throughout the Midwest in mid-century church architecture. 

Paula DeBois leads a tour of St. Augustine Episcopal Church (2425 West 19th Avenue, Gary, IN.) commissioned by the African American congregation 1958.
