The Cherry Bombs is an 80's music tribute band formed in May 2022. The members: Elise Trucks (on drums, as her legendary father, Butch Trucks of the Allman Brother’s Band), Dianne LeVerrier, aka D-love (Vocals/Guitar), is an attorney and Duran Duran obsessed costume designer; Yuka Silvera (Bass Guitar) first met and formed the original Cherry Bombs to play at the 3rd annual Battle of The Fantasy Girl Bands, a fundraiser for a nonprofit dance theater company, the Neo Political Cowgirls, at the Stephen Talkhouse in 2019. After playing with a few different bands, the three have reformed the Cherry Bombs, joined by the incredible talents of Andrea Chesley (Vocals/Keyboards), a teacher, dietitian and chef, Hailey London (Vocals/ Percussions) and artist, Nika Nesgoda (Cello/Guitar).

LeVerrier and Silvera also have recorded the song, Wild Life, written by Paul McCartney, at MonkMusic Studios. The song was was accompanied by a music video made by Dell Cullum to raise awareness to live in harmony with wildlife. The project was endorsed by Sir Paul during the pandemic. The award(s) winning video (Wild Life by the LightWorkers) can be viewed on YouTube.

The members of the Cherry Bombs and Tye Granger are dedicated musicians who like to perform for good causes that give back. In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we will be performing at the fundraiser for the new organization Hope and Resilience Long Island, on Saturday, April 22nd!

Hope and Resilience Long Island, Inc. serves victims and survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault throughout Eastern Long Island.
