Workshop: The Changing Nature of Canadian Conservatism

Date: November 15, 2019, 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Description: Conservative ideals do not change often – smaller government, less spending, respect for traditional institutions. That said, today’s Conservatives are more unpredictable than ever featuring tax cuts for the poor, a willingness to run deficits, and slogans that focus on everyday people. Are today’s Conservatives truly different? Are they populist? How do they think? Can they govern effectively? This workshop will take a deeper look into what today’s Conservatism is and where it’s going.

Who should attend: This workshop is intended for political observers, business and not-for-profit leaders that work directly with government, and others who work for / may work for a Conservative political leaders and staff.

Modalities: This is an interactive, lecture-based workshop. It may include a power-point presentation.

Available Seats: 30

Bundle discount: Mitch is also teaching a second workshop on November 29th on Navigating Complex Governments: How to Break Through. You are eligible for a bundle discount of $25 off of your total, if you choose to purchase seats at both workshops - this option is available at checkout.
