Join us for a special evening hosted by the British Embassy’s Department for International Trade! In addition to Chamber membership, we are inviting our wider network of international organizations and community partners to provide a rich discussion on international business and transatlantic trade. The event will be an open networking format, with brief remarks by the Embassy and Chamber. The Embassy is providing drinks and light appetizers, and there is no cost to attend.
Please note that due to Embassy security restrictions, advanced registration is REQUIRED. Registration will close at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 1st. Please bring a photo ID for check-in at the event.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
A government issued photo ID is required for entry. Events at this venue are 21+.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The British Embassy is easily accessible via taxi or ride service. You can also walk there from the Woodley Park metro station in about 25 minutes.
Parking: Please be advised that parking is extremely limited around the Embassy compound. Spaces on Observatory Circle Drive, NW are available on a first come first serve basis, and typically are fully occupied during working hours, however there should be a number of spaces available by the time of the reception. This is free street parking. Alternatively visitors may choose to park in the surrounding neighbourhoods (2 hr non-metered street parking available).
On Arrival: Entry to the Embassy should be made via the Security Gate House (on Observatory Circle). Please bring photo ID and show to Security on request. You will then be directed to the registration desk within the main conference space where you will be checked in.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, but registration is required for embassy security.
