Join us and our lineup of marquee speakers and educators for an engaging conference titled “The Challenge 2012: The Divided Conservative Mind ” on April 19 & 20, 2012, when we will discuss the history of conservatism and the challenge of unifying its various factions around the political quest for the White House. Sessions featuring off-campus speakers will include a moderated on-stage discussion between compassionate conservative, author of “The Tragedy of American Compassion” Marvin Olasky and libertarian “Mr. Tea Party” President of FreedomWorks Matt Kibbe ’85. We’ll feature Michael and Jonathan Medved (leading Israeli venture capitalist) on “When I’m 64: Conservative American Views of Israel Since 1948,” George W. Bush’s chief speech writer and Washington Post columnist Michael Gerson, Helen Krieble of the Krieble Foundation on a private sector solution to the immigration problem and Heritage Foundation Vice President for External Relations Becky Norton Dunlop on “Fusionism & All That Conservative Jazz!” Our own Dr. Paul Kengor will speak about the master of implementing a fusionist electionstrategy, Ronald Reagan.The Challenge 2012 will be a dynamic educational experience!
