Chad Hollister Band - NOW COMING SEPTEMBER 2023
NOTE: The Chad Hollister Band & Special Guests will now perform at The Double E on September 23
The Chad Hollister Band hails from Vermont. They have been evolving and touring the country for over 20 years. Anthony J. Resta (Collective Soul, Elton John, Shawn Mullins) says "Hollister's music is pure sonic alchemy" which means it's damn good in Vermont terms!
Chad has opened for Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and Tom Petty and has shared the stage w/ every PHISH member, Billy Gibbons, Merl Saunders, Warren Haynes and Blues Traveller. His music is a voice for the Positive and reminds you that life is truly a gift as is the ability to share it through music.
One thematic element that connects his ever-growing catalog — which dates back to his 1998 mononymous debut, Chad — it's positivity. Even his more downcast songs are uplifting. To build a career on sunshine and rainbows is surely commendable, especially when there's so much ugliness and grief in the world.
Chad has a simple message – the world needs music to encourage, persevere and heal – and combines that with a passionate delivery that is infectious. This LIVE show will simultaneously make you laugh, dance, smile and hug the person next to you!
NOTE: The Chad Hollister Band & Special Guests will now perform at The Double E in September (date TBD).
The T-Rex Theater
The Double E Performance Center is home to The T-Rex Theater - a 400 seat multipurpose events space that hosts blockbuster movies, the best-sounding concerts, engaging speaking events, live-streamed programs, and private rentals as well!
This is a general admission seated show in the T Rex Theater - seats are first-come, first-served. Our theater is outfitted with plush reclining chairs featuring cup holders that make for the most comfortable concert-going experience in Vermont.
Unless otherwise listed, our shows are all ages. All guests need a ticket to seated shows. Much like an airline, we will welcome well-behaved babies who can stay seated on their parent's laps. We ask that parents remove loud or distracting children and cooperate if our concert staff ask you to do so. Drinks are allowed in the theater; cupholders are available with each chair.
Dancing is more than welcome! We will never ask you to sit down, but please be aware of your impact on your neighbors. Folks are welcome to dance in aisleways so long as they follow the directions of our concert staff. Folks may be asked to vacate aisleways at times and dance in their seats. Seat aisles are larger than most theaters!
Please take note that most of our concerts often feature visualizers, flashing lights, and fast movement. We also broadcast the concerts in our Double E lounge so you literally don’t miss a beat.
Tickets are nonrefundable unless the show is completely canceled.
The Essex Experience is an effort to reclaim retail spaces and turn them into cultural centers. You can spend a whole day here at Black Flannel Brewery, Black Flannel Distillery, Magic Mann Cannabis Cafe, Sukho Thai, Uncommon Coffee, Arthound Gallery, The Mad Taco, The Double E Performance Center, Essex Cinemas, and so much more.
