Event description
What are Executive Functioning Skills? What can we do to develop these skills in our children to help them succeed during the school years?

About this Event

Executive function skills have received a great deal of attention in recent years, but it is still difficult for parents to understand what truly entails executive functioning. Dr. Mandi Croft Petosky, a well respected school psychologist from NeuroEDS, will help parents understand executive functioning better and how developing these skills can help our children. Dr. Petosky discusses what appropriate executive functioning skills should develop at different ages. She will discuss what are neurotypical executive functioning skills, but also how these skills may be less developed in children with ADHD, anxiety, learning disabilities, and autism.

Finally, Dr. Petosky will discuss with parents how they can help their children better develop executive functioning skills so they can be more successful. Please join us for this morning event that is sure to help us leave better informed about the CEO of the brain.
