The Age of the Individual: 500 Years Ago Today

This year’s conference marks the 500th anniversary (to the day) when Martin Luther posted his 95 theses on the door at Wittenberg on October 31st, 1517.

Leading scholars in economics, philosophy, sociology and theology will explore themes such as individualism, emancipation and self-actualization. Understanding these broad trends – how they evolved, where they stand today, and how they may play out in the future – have vital consequences for labor markets, business and innovation.
