The Carnegie Heritage Center's Historic Tour is a 75-minute guided walking tour of Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard. Start your journey at The Old Whaling Church, one of the finest examples of Greek Revival architecture in New England. Take to the streets, winding through the harbor and Main Streets to learn about the Island's rich maritime history– from the nineteenth century to the present. Visit Vineyard Preservation Trust's historic landmarks including the Vincent House, the oldest home on Martha's Vineyard, and other important sites along Edgartown Harbor, ending at The Carnegie Heritage Center. Here you can enjoy the dynamic 'Living Landmarks' exhibit, reading library, and heritage shop.
