This spring’s edition of The Butcher’s Ball Farm-to-Table Dinner series will take place Friday, March 24th and Saturday March 25th, 2023. Both dinners will be showcasing two of the best chefs cooking in Texas right now.
FRIDAY, MARCH 24
On Friday night Chef Tony Luhrman of El Topo, the reigning two-time winner of the Golden Cleaver (2018 & 2022) and his crew will be creating a multi-course meal utilizing products sourced within a 100-mile radius of Round Top. Guests will be welcomed with bites and delicious cocktails from the Butcher’s Ball favorite bar wizard, Robin Berwick. The cherry on the night will be live music from Christopher Seymore and his honky tonk band so make sure to wear your dancing boots!
SATURDAY, MARCH 25
Saturday night Chef Michelle Wallace will create a menu sourced from local farms with her special southern twist and count on the star course to come off the fire with her fierce barbecue cooking chops. She is a 2022 James Beard Taste Twenty Chef, the 2021 Culture Map Houston Rising Star Nominee and recently competing in Food Network's BBQ Brawl Season 3. The band for Saturday night will be Western Bling, their music stays true to the string swing style like Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys, Manouche Jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt, and traditional country and jazz standards.
Each evening will also feature wine pairings with each course by Chapelton Vineyards.
