The Business of Unwanted Horses
In 2015, over 130,000 horses (and donkeys) shipped to Canada and Mexico for slaughter.
Dr. Janine Jacques will present the economic factors that lead to unwanted horses in America. She will address common questions;
- - Why are we slaughtering horses?
- - Where do these horses come from?
- - What can we do to help unwanted horses?
She present some unique business strategies that will reduce the unwanted horse population including landfills, microchipping, education and tax reform.
Presented by Janine Jacques, MBA, MSCIS, PH.D
