This workshop will cover the business of building iPhone applications. It will address the risks and the potential rewards of producing an application and having it for sale in the iTunes App Store. The workshop will cover the following aspects of the business including:

Virtual Workshop Format

This will be an online workshop that will last two hours. A link with login information and dial-in instructions will be provided prior to the event.  There will be a short break in the middle and time for questions and answers for key topics.

Target Audience

The target audience for this talk includes individuals or businesss who are considering building an iPhone, iPad or mobile application or are planning on having a product developed. No technical expertise is required for this workshop; however, a familiarity with the iPhone and the app store is recommended.  Experienced iPhone developers who are looking for business strategy may also benefit from this workshop.

About the presenter

Gregory Raiz is the founder of Raizlabs and has worked on over 20 iPhone projects.  Our applications have made numerous top 10 lists in multiple categories including Finance, Travel, Fitness, Music,  Social Networking, Utilities and Games. We've had success internatially with the number 1 free app in Japan as well as #1 Utility in Spain and Italy. Greg was a former program manager on the design of Windows XP. Greg helped publish the book Windows User Experience for Microsoft press in 1999. In 2001 Greg moved back to Boston to focus on his company, Raizlabs. The company's goal is to enable people to express their creativity and imagination through innovative software and products.
