Our Speaker:

Join the San Diego CFO Leadership Council as Ronda Sedillo, CFO for the Padres, gives us a behind the scenes look into the unique aspects of leading a finance team in major league baseball. Ronda is responsible for multiple business operations that all funnel back into the Padres finance department. She will take us through the challenges she faces in this unique business model. Everything from finances involved with Major League Baseball, annual forecasting, audits and working with service providers that support the Padres organization. She is also involved in the administration and accounting of the Padres Foundation, which is a non-profit entity. Ronda is tasked with the accounting of different events at Petco Park – such as concerts, monster trucks and the work that goes into building the infrastructure up, then taking it down again once temporary events leave Petco Park.

Join us on February 15th as Ronda Sedillo takes us through these unique challenges and the impact of being the only major league sports organization in the San Diego community. You do not want to miss this!
