Our annual workshops and conference have gained a loyal following over the past 12 years. Bar professionals from around the country have come along to listen and learn from leading operators on running a successful bar businesses. Hosted by Bartender Magazine & Bar Week founder David Spanton. The last three years our event sold out well in advance and we expect 2017 to be even bigger and better. Sven Almenning, founder of Eau de Vie and the Speakeasy Group and online training platform Ananas, is happy to open the door to his successful bar empire and give you a good look inside.

His frank articles in Bartender mag have hit the right note recently, giving aspiring bartenders a detailed how-to guide to opening a bar - from cocktail margins to lease negotiations.
