Join us for the 13th annual Business Generating Good Summit - an event exploring how businesses can be used as a force for social impact!

About this Event

The Business Generating Good Summit, previously known as the APTE summit, is an annual conference organized by OSU students in Alleviating Poverty Through Entrepreneurship and attended by 500+ community members and students. The summit brings together social entrepreneurs from around the world to share their insights on sustainable social good along the themes of experience, educate, and engage.

The Business Generating Good Summit will be held on February 15, 2020 in the Ohio Union Performance Hall. Registration will open at 10:00 a.m. and the event will begin at 10:30 a.m.

The event will feature keynote speakers, a panel titled “Across the Social-Impact Spectrum,” and a business showcase with community networking opportunities. The summit will include speakers from Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream, Hot Chicken Takeover, Teatulia, OneSight, and Global Gifts!

Alleviating Poverty Through Entrepreneurship (APTE) is an entirely student-run organization at Ohio State focused on exploring the role of social enterprises and sustainable solutions in societal issues. Each year APTE hosts the Business Generating Good Summit to educate and inspire students and community members to explore how social impact can be woven into all areas of business.
