About the Series

Pre-registration includes three Wednesday evening meditation classes November 6th-20th. Or just pay as you go for any class you can attend!

We are alive, therefore we will die. This is the simplest, most obvious truth of our existence, yet few have come to terms with this fact. These classes - based on the book Living Meaningfully, Dying Joyfully by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso - will explore profound Buddhist teachings on contemplating our mortality in a way that inspires living more fully right now. In particular, Buddha's teachings on the five forces illuminate the way to prepare for death and empower a positive way of engaging in life.

Register here for the three-class series or simply drop in for any class you wish to attend: $12 at the door - $6 students and seniors 62+).

About the Teacher

Gen Kelsang Khedrub, a Western Buddhist monk, has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s guidance for many years. His heartfelt teachings are presented with clarity and humor that make them accessible to everyone. Through his kindness, humility and deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings, Gen Khedrub provides an inspiring example of a contemporary Buddhist practitioner we can follow.
