The Buddhist Practice of Patience
Event Information
About this Event
From a Buddhist perspective, patience is knowing when to let things unfold naturally and when to intervene, when to respond and when to hold our tongues, when to seek change and when to rest in discomfort. Patience is one of the six virtues (paramitas) that distinguishes the bodhisattva path of which Zen is a part of. The result of practicing patience is a state of mind where we can feel at home and content in every situation.
