Description

Join us for a guest lecture with Peter Trippi, editor-in-chief of Fine Art Connoisseur, the magazine that serves collectors of historical and contemporary representational art. He is also president of the Association of Historians of Nineteenth-Century Art, an affiliated society of the College Art Association. He recently co-curated an exhibition about the Victorian painter Lawrence Alma-Tadema (1836–1912), currently on view at the Fries Museum in this Dutch-born artist’s native city, Leeuwarden. It will travel to Vienna’s Belvedere and London’s Leighton House, and is accompanied by a book published by Prestel.
