Description

The California Gold Coast Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America is pleased to present Captain Eric Buschow from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office who will speak about communication during the Borderline Shooting and Woolsey Fire.

Captain Eric Buschow has been an employee of the Ventura County Sheriff's Office for 30 years. In addtion to assignments in custody and patrol, he has extensive experience in criminal investigations, professional standards, hostage negotiations, and as adjutant to the Sheriff. With a background in journalism, Eric has been a public information officer for 19 years and teaches classes in media relations to a variety of different agencies.
