Based on the beloved bestselling book, THE BOOK THIEF tells the inspirational story of a spirited and courageous young girl who transforms the lives of everyone around her when she is sent to live with a foster family in World War II Germany.
A book signing with author Markus Zusak will follow and books will be available for purchase at the venue.
**Tickets are FREE but DO NOT guarantee admission. Please arrive early the day of the event (doors will open at approximately 1:15pm) to guarantee your seat. Once our physical capacity is reached we will not be able to admit any more ticketed guests.**

What if I want to register a group that is larger than 4 people?
To register a group with a party larger than 4 people please email John Clinton at email@example.com with the name of a contact for your group, your contact's email address, the name and address of your organization, and the names of the individuals in your group.
Is this venue handicap-accessible?
Yes, if you will require a handicap-accessible seat please check "Yes" in response to the question asking about this on the ticket registration page.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
This is an All Ages event. Anyone with a ticket may attend.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Public transportation is the easiest way to get to the venue. The closest subways are the C, E or 1 trains to 23rd St.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You can either bring a printout of your ticket or you can present a digital ticket on your smartphone. Tickets will be checked at the venue entrance.
What is the refund policy?
Tickets are free so refunds are not applicable. However, if you register for a free ticket and your plans change we would appreciate if you let us so we can release your ticket to someone else that will use it.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No. The name on the registration/ticket MUST match the ID of the person attending. If you want to transfer your ticket to someone else you must request this change by emailing John Clinton at firstname.lastname@example.org at least 48 hours before the start of the event.
