Description

This timely and informative presentation will focus on the natural history of bobcats in CT, as well as their habitat, diet, behavior, reproduction, and current research efforts. Paul will provide practical safety tips and recommendations for living with the bobcat population, and also discuss mountain lions. Interesting bobcat artifacts will be shared with the audience.

About the Presenter:
Paul Colburn is a 2015 graduate of the Master Wildlife Conservationist Program (MWCP) and a certified Master Wildlife Conservationist (MWC). The MWCP is a Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP) adult education program that trains volunteers in the fields of wildlife management, natural history and interpretation. Paul has provided over 160 wildlife presentations across the state and participated in numerous DEEP wildlife research projects. Paul is also a member of the Andover Sportsmans Club.
