Event description

Description

Black Wall Street was in Greenwood, Oklahoma, a suburb of Tulsa. Known as “Black Wall Street” in the early part of the 20th century it was a thriving business district featuring black owned businesses. In just two days in the Spring of 1921, it was all destroyed. Many accounts of the demise of Black Wall Street refer to it as a “race riot“.

The Next Level Ministry of Empowerment Church presents a Moment in Black History - The Black Wall Street Market. This is an open to the public event that will feature and highlight small businesses .

Hey Do you or someone you know have a business to showcase ? Come occupy the streets of Black Wall Street with fellow business owners. Set up shop to show off and sell your product or service. Deadline to reserve your booth is February 8th.
