Originally from Dublin, this duo consisting of multi-award winning guitarist and lead singer/songwriter Dave Rooney and Guinness World Record breaking guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Dave Browne are known for their original heartfelt ballad, raucous vocals, and rip-roaring fretwork.

The Black Donnellys have played with a wealth of well-known Irish artists such as: Ronny Drew, The Fureys, Johnny Logan, Aslan, The Pogues, and The Dubliners.

Their hit, “Notorious,” is the theme song of UFC champion fighter Conor McGregor. The song has been taken in with open arms by the UFC, and has been published globally. Rooney has written a second track ”We Are All Fighters” for the UFC’s social responsibility campaign, which will be published in the first quarter of 2018.
