About this event
Join New Hampshire PBS, in partnership with the Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire and New Hampshire Humanities, on Sunday, March 21st at 2pm for a screening and discussion of the new PBS documentary THE BLACK CHURCH: THIS IS OUR STORY, THIS OUR SONG.
The two-part series, hosted by Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr., reveals the broad history and culture of the Black Church and explores the African American faith communities on the frontlines of hope and change.

If you joined us in February, some of the video clips will be familiar. We are pleased to have a new group of panelists to talk about the groundbreaking series – including Shayla Harris, co-producer and co-director of the Black Church: This is Our Story, This is Our Song, UNH Associate Professor Dr. Reginald Wilburn, and the Rev. Lauren Smith Director of Stewardship and Development at the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) will also participate.
