University of Michigan's Creative Arts Orchestra will be led by composer/improvisational percussionist Adam Shead (Columbia College Chicago 2016, Dod Kalm, Action Patters) for a night of imporvisational jazz and composed works.
This perfomance will take the audience on a tour through the basement of the Commerce Center - a former power plant - as they progress through the works.

University of Michigan's Creative Arts Orchestra is a large improvising ensemble consisting of brass, woodwinds, strings, voices, and percussion that utilizes both Eurological and Afrological musical streams in attempt to create a music that is as inclusive as it is transcendant. CAO, led by composer/improvisational percussionist Adam Shead (Columbia College Chicago 2016, Dod Kalm, Action Patters) will perform two sets of both composed and improvised works taking the audience on a auditory tour of the Commerce Center.
