Event description

Description

We live in the age of pressure: a fierce war for talent, the spectre of automation, non-stop emails, 15 ‘top’ priorities, longer commutes, volatile politics, and shorter lead times. Left unmanaged, this pressure can limit empathy, reinforce biases, stifle creativity, and prevent learning - all of which are vital tools in an era of agility and continuous change.

Yet, some people thrive under pressure. They learn to use it as a source of growth and inspiration. If channeled effectively, pressure can enable amazing performance and tremendous satisfaction. So, how do individuals, leaders, and organizations learn to harness the positives from pressure and mitigate its dark side?

In an engaging breakfast conversation, Performance Coaching CEO Dane Jensen will unpack the "paradox of pressure" to look at the unique factors that lead people to feel pressure and to respond to it productively - and the implications that this has for organizations operating in disruption.
