The BIG REVEAL of the 2023 Change Maker Finalists for Impact 100

At the BIG REVEAL-on Tuesday, May 16, we will unveil our five Change Maker finalists, all of whom have the chance to receive the 2023 $100,000 Change Maker Grant at the Annual Awards Celebration on June 13. The event starts at 5:45pm and ends at 7:15pm.

This event is for Members and Alumnae Only.

Our host for the evening is Indy Urban Acres, the 2015 Change Maker.

Location: for the Main Parking lot which leads to entrance at Indy Urban Acres, 7700 East 21st St, Indianapolis 46219. This location is easily accessible from downtown and all sides of the city (21st & Shadeland). Tickets are free and there is plenty of parking!

Since this location is an urban farm, please dress accordingly:

1. Casual Attire and comfortable walking shoes- There is a 10-minute walk from the gravel/mulched main parking lot. There will be excellent signage as you walk towards the gardens and greenhouse. See below instructions for the handicapped parking area.

2. Drinks and light snacks will be provided as we sit at picnic tables surrounded by the scenic view of trees and flower gardens.

3. Plan to mix and mingle, followed by brief presentations for the five finalists grant projects. The Focus Area Committee Chairs will present the information. What an exciting time as your hard work through the FAC committee and thorough grant review will soon meet our Impact 100 mission.

Members in attendance will have the chance to win a gift card for cocktails/appetizers at Nicky Blaine's Cocktail Lounge, located downtown on Monument Circle. Must be present to win.

Indy Urban Acres is a project of The Parks Alliance (formerly the Indianapolis Parks Foundation) Their $100,000 grant was used to start the Indy Urban Acres Flower Farm and proceeds of the flower farm supports their goal of addressing food insecurity in our community. Impact 100 members can be rightfully proud of the impact they made to move the IUA forward.

Look for the IMPACT 100 Yard Signs.The parking is lot located on the north side of 21st Street. It is a large lot with gravel/mulch. There is an INDY URBAN ACRES sign

Handicap parking is available at a separate entrance. Just past the Indy Urban Acres lot:

7900 Shearer Road, Indianapolis IN 46219

Continue on Eastwood Place until you reach Shearer Road. Take a left on Shearer Road, go past 2 houses and you will see the driveway to Indy Urban Acres.

There are two restrooms on the farm.

As a reminder, wear appropriate footwear if there is heavy rain prior to the event. We will update you with email reminders.

We expect brilliant sunshine, however, in case of rain there is a sheltered area and a greenhouse for this event.
