Description

The BIG Ready is a multi-faceted event that is hosted by the creator of TimeCrafting – yours truly – Mike Vardy.

The aim of this event is to bring together those that want to improve their ability to align their intentions – the things they need and want to do – with their attention so that they can find their way forward.

Whether you're an entrepreneur that has a lot on their plate and find it challenging to get the right things done, someone who is feeling stuck in their work and in their life and want to make progress with purpose, or are a person who is overwhelmed and "underfocused", The BIG Ready has something to offer you.

I've been to many events in my decade-plus of experience in the realm of time management and personal productivity and I wanted to craft an event that takes what I liked from each of them and bring that to where I'm from. I wanted to bring friends that I've made along the way to share their insights and ideas with you. I wanted to host an experience here that meshes substance and style in an unforgettable way. And I wanted to create something multi-faceted that tells a story that is worth seeing and hearing – something I've been a part of at other events in my travels.

FAQs

Since this is taking place in Canada, will I be charged in Canadian dollars?
Yes. While I usually charge in USD for products and services (as is generally customary on the Internet), because this event is taking place in Canada – and to avoid confusion – the cost of tickets is in Canadian dollars. There is also 5% GST (Goods and Services tax) charged on every ticket sold.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Participation in this event requires you to be 19 or older.

What about accessibility at the venue?
Since the Lost + Found is at street level the venue is fully accessible.

How many people can attend?
We are capping participants at 80.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There are taxicabs and public transit (including SkyTrain) throughout downtown Vancouver. There are rideshare services such as Lyft and Uber are available but they only started up in the area in early 2020 and do have limited coverage areas. If you fly into Vancouver then we recommend you take the Canada Line to the downtown core and make your way to your hotel and/or the event from there. Parking in downtown Vancouver can be challenging and expensive so we encourage you to carpool, take a Lyft or Uber, or to take transit.

What can I bring into the event?
Besides yourself and a positive attitude, it's ideal that you have a notebook and something to write with. While using laptops and mobile devices is not prohibited, we encourage you to take notes on paper as they tend to resonate more and paper doesn't "ping" at you.

What's the refund policy?
Due to timing and planning, tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred. A transfer and administration fee of $100 will be issued and transfers must happen by Feb. 19.

Is lunch included?
No, lunch is not included but there will be snacks and refreshments provided.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
If you bring your paper ticket (or electronic ticket) then it will expedite the registration process. If not, a valid photo ID (passport, driver's licence) will do.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes, but a transfer and administration fee of $100 will be issued and transfers must happen by Feb. 19.
