Event description

Description

The Big Picture is a dynamic health education and community outreach initiative that is solely written and performed by and for adolescent youth. Based on data from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Youth Risk Behavior Survey, this youth initiative addresses the current trends and health related issues facing teenagers in Charlotte today, with a focus on positive behavioral and health choices.

Every year Teen Health Connection partners with local schools to transport high school health students to the McGlohon Theater to watch a daytime performance of this important play. The students are able to learn about healthy behaviors and hear from their peers on ways to address health and safety issues that may be impacting them. Parents and community members are invited to attend the FREE evening community performance on Thursday, April 12th. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7:00pm.
