About this event
Want to learn more about the wildlife at Gronant?
Want to see the only Little Tern colony in ALL Wales?
Come and join the wardens as they count the little terns before they leave at the end of summer!
The little tern are one of the UKs rarest breeding sea birds, travelling over 3000 miles from West Africa, and returning to the UK to breed in the summer.
Hidden away, just 15 minutes walk from Presthaven Holiday Park, the sand dunes at Gronant are the perfect home for these little birds.
Did you know, this SSSI is also home to the rare and endangered natter jack toad and sand lizard!
Binoculars, arts and crafts, and educational materials will be provided.
Free parking and walking route to the viewing platform can be found on the map below.
