Visit New Orleans like a real local and learn where all the locals' secret sweet spots are! This two-hour walking tour provides guests with New Orleans' history along with detailed stories of events that made New Orleans become the city that it is today. During this tour guests are encouraged to eat, drink and have most of all have fun!

New Orleans is a beautiful Louisiana city located on the Mississippi River, near the Gulf of Mexico. Nicknamed the "Big Easy," it's known for its round-the-clock nightlife, vibrant live-music scene and spicy, singular cuisine reflecting its history as a melting pot of French, African and American cultures. Embodying its festive spirit is Mardi Gras, the late-winter carnival famed for raucous costumed parades and public partying.

The tour guide will take guests around and show them where locals hang out. This tour starts in the heart of the French Quarter and ends after the tour guide takes guests to Frenchmen Street. Frenchmen Street is known as Bourbon Street!

Join this tour and explore the French Quarter with a licensed tour guide, this tour sums up everything that makes The Big Easy so unique. Learn some interesting facts about New Orleans' very famous celebration, Mardi Gras. Visit locations where Mardi Gras traditions still take place every year and learn the history behind these traditions.

See where the French Opera house once stood one Bourbon Street. Learn about voodoo that is still practiced in New Orleans! Did you know Marie Laveau the voodoo queen was allowed to practice voodoo in the Catholic Church?! Guests will take a stroll down Royal Street and see the famous art gallery's.

Visit the old U.S. Mint, the very popular French Market, which is a beautiful open air market, The Louisiana State Museum called the Cabildo where the Louisiana Purchase was signed in 1803.

Visit the oldest (still operational) church in the United States and visit the oldest home in the Mississippi Valley, it is that of a West Indies Style Architecture.

During the tour guests will learn about shot gun homes, creole cottages, and the difference between balconies and galleries. You will also experience the beauty of the mighty Mississippi River!

  • When a customer does not check in for a tour (or arrive at the start of the tour) the tour will still depart at the scheduled time and the customer is marked a "no show". If customers call AFTER the tour departs they will not be able to get in touch with your tour guide until after the tour. Due to a strict schedule, tour guides are not allowed to delay tours for any reason. All tour guides do take time stamped photos when they leave the departure spot to show that they left from the departure spot on the scheduled time. If customers do not arrive to check in for the tour and do not attend the tour because they are late no refunds are offered. We understand that it can be overwhelming being in a city that you are unfamiliar with. Please allow yourself enough time to be on time for your tour.
