FAMILIES GET CREATIVE AND HAVE A BASH AT THE EBWORTH CENTRE

On Saturday 16th September, Stroud sees the launch of the first Big Bash at The Ebworth Centre.

With a massive pile of wood, hammers and nails, families are invited to get creative and build their own wooden sculptures. No skill necessary, just the enthusiasm to build as big or as small as imaginations allow. There wiil be a festival-like atmosphere with delicious local food and drink, music and storytelling as well as a Play Trail through the atmospheric woodland.


This is an amazing opportunity to experience The Ebworth Estate - a stunning setting on the Cotswold escarpment with views over native beech woods full of protected flora and fauna.

The Big Bash offers plenty to keep the whole family entertained including sculpture making, a woodland play trail, face painting, mud kitchen, storytelling by local author, Christine O’Neill, reading her Glowworm Tale set in the Slad Valley, archery, delicious local food including Forest Hog Roast, pizza and Ice Cream, as well as tea and homemade cakes and a bar—a bit of something for everyone!
