Event description



The Belgian Throwdown represents one of the main international crossfit competitions in Europe. This year, 600 athletes from all over Europe will have to compete on ever more varied and spectacular WODs.

To ensure the smooth running of the WODs and the whole event, we need motivated and committed volunteers, head volunteers, judges and head judges.

For organizational reasons, we ask participants to ensure a minimum availability of two consecutive days between Friday, August 9 (all day), Saturday, August 10 (all day) and Sunday, August 11 (all day).

Please note that, when you register, it does not guarantee your participation as a volunteer or judge, so do not hesitate to give your motivation in the textbox provided for this purpose.

Volunteer / Judge pack

Each volunteer or judge will receive a complete pack including:

  • A Belgian Throwdown t-shirt flocked "Volunteer" or "Judge"

  • A pair of Belgian Throwdown sunglasses

  • Various goodies from our sponsors (protein bars, energy drinks, shaker, stickers, etc.)

Accommodation - Hostel Da Vinci

The box Crossfit Da Vinci ( will be able to accommodate the volunteers and judges:

  • The night of Friday, August 9 to Saturday, August 10

  • The night of Saturday, August 10 to Sunday, August 11

And will provide parking, showers, locker rooms and toilet. Please provide mattress, sleeping bag and towel. A WOD or stretching session can be organized.


The Belgian Throwdown will take care of all the meals for all the volunteers and judges at the Da Vinci hostel and at the Parc des 3 Tilleuls. Our partner Athletix Food will provide prepared meals.


A shuttle will be set up at fixed times between the Auberge Da Vinci and the Parc des 3 Tilleuls to transport volunteers and judges.

Assembly and installation before event

The Belgian Throwdown also needs volunteers for installation:

  • Wednesday, August 7

  • Thursday, August 8
