Description

Come learn the basics of sound, and use it to your advantage. We will go over the functions of a mixing board, how a mic works and tackle any questions you might have about live sound.

Bio

Greyson studied Live Sound and Music Recording at Recording Arts Canada in Montréal in 2017. They have been a freelance live sound technician for the last 10 years and has worked location sound for the TV series "Wild Kitchen". Greyson recorded and co-produced Quantum Tangle's latest album, "Shelter as we go...", and their JUNO Award winning Ep "Tiny Hands". Greyson's album "Live at the NACC" was nominated for Beat Blues Album at the 2017 Indigenous Music Awards.

Greyson Gritt was born on the Canadian Shield, raised on a dirt road, and lives as a sub-arctic folk-blues musician in Yellowknife, NWT. With a mouthful of soul and a truckload of blues, this queer Anishinaabe-Métis songster was nominated for Best Blues Album at the Indigenous Music Awards in 2017 and is a member of the JUNO award-winning group Quantum Tangle.
