In April we celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month with a series of three recent documentaries about Miles Davis, Fred Hersch and W. Eugene Smith’s jazz loft. The directors of all three will introduce their films.

Co-director Charlotte Lagarde will introduce her documentary film about pianist and composer Fred Hersch, a major jazz figure who has performed at the Library of Congress.
