For the second year The Carr Center has hosted a Metro Detroit Youth Artist Competition to support and recognize developing young talent in music, dance, visual arts and literary arts. Entries were accepted from grades 6 - 12 throughout the Metro Detroit area.

Winners received cash prizes and the opportunity to be featured in a special Carr Center Gallery exhibition, opening June 1st and running through June 25th.
