The Autism Daddy in Fairfield, CA!
The event sponsors are excited to bring the "Autism Daddy", Frank Campagna, from New York to Fairfield CA to share his insights and experiences as a dad of a now 13 year old son with severe nonverbal autism and epilepsy. He created a blog starting in 2011, to portray the real life of a family living with autism (the good, the bad, and the poop!). Frank was also responsible for the creation of a character with Autism to the popular children's educational TV show Sesame Street.
This talk will provide a candid look into the lives of so many families with special needs children, and be an inspiration to all who participate. The presentation will feature a talk based on real life experiences, followed by a Q&A period.
The event will also have resources and information from local providers to share about supports and services for our special needs community.
Light refreshments will be provided compliments of the State Council on Developmental Disabilities
