Event description

Description

Interested parents from San Ramon, Danville, Dublin, Pleasanton, and Livermore are invited to join us for an informational evening. Get to know Athenian better and ask individual questions. This annual event follows the tradition established by our founder, Dyke Brown.

We will gather at the home of Sudhir and Anita Aggarwal in Danville. The event features Eric Niles, Athenian's Head of School. Chris Beeson, Director of Admission and Financial Aid, and other current parents will also attend.

Note: This event is organized for adults: parents of applicants and parents of current students.

The Athenian School believes the best way to master academic subjects is to experience their application first hand. In our rigorous academic program, you and other talented students from the East Bay and around the world will immerse yourselves deeply in coursework, inspiring each other to think critically, problem solve, and collaborate as global citizens. As an Athenian graduate, you’ll thrive in any of the nation’s best colleges and be poised for a life of intellectual exploration and meaningful contribution.

Athenian educates 520 students in grades 6-12 on a beautiful 75 acre-campus at the base of Mt. Diablo. Average class size is 15 students. Distinctive programs include: teaching through problem solving, Middle School Focus Days, International exchange and service, a global student body, engineering design, and the required Athenian wilderness experience. Virtually 100% of Athenian students gain admission to an outstanding array of four-year colleges. Most importantly Athenian graduates are prepared for a life of purpose and personal fulfillment.
