Event description

Description

A key challenge for many artists is continuing to focus on the art they love while earning a living that affords them the lifestyle they desire. A number of new and creative career choices and paths are available which allow you to develop the professional life you desire.

This workshop kicks off with a panel of successful Tyler alumni who have pursued innovative paths to find success. Then, under the guidance of leaders from the Temple University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute (IEI), spend time learning how to apply your creativity skills to think about your career – how do you connect your passion(s) to your professional life? The workshop will end with a review of resources available within Tyler, IEI, and the university to help you find/build success – whether you are a prospective student, current student, or alumni, we have an amazing set of resources that can help you have the impact you want to have.

Due to very strong demand, we are currently taking names for the wait list. Although we cannot guarantee attendance, we do expect to have some openings as the date approaches.
