Join The Artest Foundation for a day of fun and learning as Mark Strickland (fmr. NBA Player) to teach kids how to play basketball.

There will be warm-ups, training, give aways and more.

Kids of all ages welcome, however, to be on the court and training with the pros in basketball, they need to be 12 years - 18 years of age.

Giveaways will include a one year paid membership to, chess sets and more.


Mark Strickland AKA "Pogoman" is a retired American professional basketball player who played for the National Basketball Association (NBA) for ten seasons, four which were spent with the Miami Heat. The other six years were split between Denver Nuggets, New Jersey Nets, Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, Indiana Pacers and Dallas Mavericks. He has studied, played and trained with Hall of Fame coaches such as Travis Grant, John Chaney, Pat Riley, George Karl, Don Nelson and Larry Brown.


The New York Marial Arts academy will be teaching kids and doing a demonstration. As you may know that the practice of martial arts will help you get centered and physically fit while also teaching you a form of self-defense. All Ages


IN-18, LLC will be there to have the kids explore golf. This will be an interactive activity for kids of all ages.

The event will run from 10am - 4:00pm, however doors will close around 3pm ET
