The Artery - Sculpting Camp

In this class students will design and create sculptures from a variety of media. The students will learns skills and terminology as they work together, brain storm and problem solve the challenges that arise as they turn imaginings into tangible form.
There will no be class on Friday of this week in order to give students and employees time to celebrate with their families. As a result the price for the week is discounted.

Heidi Miller Lowell
Heidi Miller Lowell has 12 years experience working in the field of education. She attended the University of Texas here in Austin and studied Applied Learning and Development. She served Executive Education Director at the University Inter-Cooperatie Council, worked as a sumer camp director, art teacher in public schools, and 3rd grade classroom as well as living in an art guild during that time.
Unlike most art teachers, Heidi has studied pedagogy and brain development exstensively. She travels for state and national art conferences each year to keep up on the most current research, and plans to speak at the National Art Education Association conference in 2015. She is excited to use art to teach students reading, writing, social skills, and creativity at The Artery.
