Description

What do you do when you're working on something and you need some help? Whether it's money, time, an introduction, or something else, come to this workshop to learn how to ask for help and ensure the only possible answer is YES!

Workshop Instructor: Victoria Cueller '05 is a senior member of the PropelNext program at the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation (now Blue Meridian Partners). She manages the selection of the initiative’s grantees and delivery of the program, and she also develops and implements projects and strategic plans on behalf of the foundation. Before joining EMCF, Victoria was a program manager for the Live Theater Program at Early Stages, an arts education organization for New York City schoolchildren, and a development associate at the East Bay Center for Performing Arts in Richmond, CA. She has also contributed as a mentor and Advisory Board member in the Barnard Alumnae-to-Student Mentoring Program. She earned a bachelor’s degree in American studies from Barnard College and a master’s in nonprofit management from the New School for Public Engagement’s Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy.

This workshop is part of our spring 2020 series Make Your Ask where students learn how to make an ask for help or money that ends in an enthusiastic Yes!
